CAIRO – 24 March 2025: The Interior Ministry decided Monday to grant all inmates at the rehabilitation centers one exceptional visit during Eid al Fitr starting Saturday until Thursday, April 24.
The exceptional visit, not to be counted among the inmates' regular visits, is meant to give the inmates a chance to celebrate the religious occasion with their families.
The decision was made as part of the ministry's commitment to upholding human rights values and applying modern punishment policies.
