CAIRO – 25 April 2025: As many as 746 inmates at various correctional and rehabilitation centers nationwide have been released in light of a presidential decree to pardon some prisoners on the occasion of Sinai Liberation Day.
The decision also reflects the Interior Ministry's firm intentions to establish a modern punitive policy and to provide the utmost care for inmates at correction centers.
