Chairman of Sudanese Sovereignty Council arrives in Cairo

CAIRO – 28 April 2025:  Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, arrived in Cairo on Monday.

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi expected to receive Chairman of Sudan's  General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and support efforts to restore stability and development in Sudan.

Presidential Spokesperson Mohamed el-Shenawy said President Sisi and Burhan will also exchange viewpoints on a number of regional issues.
