Wednesday weather: Slight rise in temperature along with windy conditions; Cairo records low of 11°C

CAIRO - 4 March 2026: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a slight and gradual rise in temperatures across most of the country on Wednesday.
 
Early mornings will be very cold, becoming mild to warm during the day, and very cold at night. There is also a chance of frost on crops in central Sinai.
 
Expected Weather Phenomena:
 
- Mist (from 4 to 9 AM): Over areas from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai. The fog may be dense at times in some areas.
 
- Very low chance of light rain (approximately 10%): Intermittently over parts of the northern coast and northern Nile Delta.
 
- Low clouds: Over parts of southern Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities, which may produce light, insignificant drizzle in some areas.
 
- Windy conditions: Intermittently over parts of southern Sinai.
