CAIRO - 9 April 2026: Minister of Justice Mahmoud El-Sherif stressed the ministry’s keenness to enhance communication and continuous coordination with the House of Representatives and the Senate during the coming period, in a way that supports joint institutional work and promotes comprehensive development efforts.
His remarks came during a meeting on Thursday, with members of both chambers at the ministry’s headquarters, in the presence of Assistant Justice Minister for Media and Parliamentary Affairs Alaa Kandil.
El-Sherif highlighted the importance of such meetings in strengthening collaboration between the executive and legislative branches, and supporting state efforts to develop institutional performance and improve services provided to citizens.
During the meeting, the minister listened to proposals and requests put forward by parliament members, directing the competent bodies to examine them carefully and take the necessary measures in a manner that serves the public interest and meets citizens’ needs.
For their part, MPs and senators expressed appreciation for the Justice Ministry’s efforts, underlining the significance of maintaining effective communication and constructive cooperation between the two legislative and executive bodies to serve the public good.
