CAIRO - 3 June 2026: EgyptAir announced in a press release the cancellation of its flights to Kuwait Airport on Wednesday and Thursday, after a recent attack by Iran targeting Kuwait International Airport.

EgyptAir said it is closely monitoring the situation in full coordination with the relevant authorities and the Civil Aviation Authority. It announced flight cancellation to Kuwait Airport out of concern for the safety of its customers, until the situation in the region stabilizes.

The company urges passengers traveling on flights to and from Kuwait to review their bookings by contacting the EgyptAir call center.

Egypt has strongly condemned the Iranian strike on Kuwait International Airport that resulted in injuries and damages to the facility, describing it as a “heinous attack.”
