CAIRO - 28 July 2026: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a Tuesday phone call with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, reiterating Egypt's strong condemnation of recent attacks targeting Kuwait.
Sisi underscored that any assault on Kuwaiti sovereignty represents a blatant violation of international law and a dangerous escalation threatening Middle Eastern stability.
He emphasized that the security of Kuwait and all Arab nations remains an integral part of Egyptian national security, noting Cairo's active diplomatic efforts to diffuse regional tensions through peaceful means.
Expressing full solidarity with Kuwait, Sisi praised the Emir's leadership in navigating current regional challenges and maintaining a stance against further escalation.
For his part, Sheikh Meshal expressed gratitude for Egypt's steadfast support of Kuwait's security, commending Cairo's diplomatic initiatives to restore regional stability and stressing the need for continued high-level coordination between the two nations.
