CAIRO – 3 August 2026: The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the launch of 15 Egyptian-Italian applied technology schools for the 2026/2027 academic year under the unified brand name “8ones.”
Established in collaboration with Italy’s Giulio Natta Academy and San Paolo Hospitality Academy, the initiative aims to train highly qualified technical personnel for the hospitality sector in according with international standards.
The newly launched schools combine academic study with hands-on practical training in real-world work environments using modern curricula developed alongside Italian partners:
In partnership with Giulio Natta Academy:
● Dakahlia Governorate: Talkha Egyptian-Italian Applied Technology School
● Beni Suef Governorate: Beni Suef Egyptian-Italian Applied Technology School
● Gharbia Governorate: Kafr El-Zayat Egyptian-Italian Applied Technology School
In partnership with San Paolo Hospitality Academy:
● Cairo Governorate: East Nasr City, Badr, and Nozha Applied Technology Schools (Hospitality)
● Alexandria Governorate: East Alexandria and Central Alexandria Applied Technology Schools (Hospitality)
● Aswan Governorate: Aswan Applied Technology School (Hospitality)
● Sohag Governorate: Sohag Applied Technology School (Hospitality)
● Assiut Governorate: Assiut Applied Technology School (Hospitality)
● Fayoum Governorate: East Fayoum Applied Technology School (Hospitality)
● Beheira Governorate: Bandar Damanhour Applied Technology School (Hospitality)
● Giza Governorate: October Applied Technology School (Hospitality and Film Industry)
● Suez Governorate: South Suez Applied Technology School (Hospitality)
The Ministry affirmed that expanding the network of Egyptian-Italian Applied Technology Schools directly aligns with Egypt's broader strategy to modernize technical education. By deepening partnerships with international educational institutions and private sector leaders, the program ensures graduates acquire the practical experience required to compete in domestic and global job markets.
