CAIRO – 6 August 2026: Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty departed Thursday for N'Djamena to co-chair the fourth session of the Egypt-Chad Joint Committee.

The meeting, which will bring together ministers from both countries, will discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in the political, economic, trade, and investment fields, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

During the visit, Abdelatty is also scheduled to hold talks with senior Chadian officials on enhancing bilateral ties, while discussing regional and international issues of mutual interest.
