The meeting also addressed developments in the Gaza Strip following the announcement of the roadmap to complete the implementation of US President Donald Trump’s comprehensive peace plan.
Minister Abdelatty stressed the importance of adhering to all the requirements of the roadmap and ensuring full access for humanitarian aid, which would pave the way for moving to the next phase of the plan, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital.
