Monday Forecast: extremely hot weather expected in Cairo, feels Like 39°C

CAIRO – 10 August 2026: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) revealed that the latest satellite images indicate extremely hot and humid weather during the day across most of the country. Hot and humid conditions are expected along the northern coast, with warm and humid conditions overnight nationwide.

Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen, Director General of the Weather Forecasting and Early Warning Department at the EMA, provided details on expected conditions, noting a slight increase in perceived temperatures due to high humidity levels across the country.

Expected Temperatures:

Greater Cairo: High 37°C, Feels Like 39°C

Lower Egypt: High 36°C, Feels Like 38°C

Northwest Coast: High 34°C, Feels Like 38°C

Northeast Coast: High 31°C, Feels Like 35°C

Upper Egypt: High 38°C, Feels Like 40°C

Southern Egypt: High 41°C, Feels Like 42°C
