CAIRO - 11 August 2026: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a rise in temperatures across most of the country on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
 
Expected Temperatures:
 
Greater Cairo: High 40°C - Feels Like 42°C
 
Lower Egypt: High 39°C - Feels Like 41°C
 
Northwest Coast: High 31°C - Feels Like 35°C
 
Northeast Coast: High 36°C - Feels Like 40°C
 
Upper Egypt (North): High 41°C - Feels Like 43°C
 
Upper Egypt (South): High 42°C - Feels Like 43°C
 
 
Weather Forecast:
 
Warm and humid in the early morning, very hot and humid during the day across most of the country, hot and humid along the northwest coast, and warm and humid at night across most of the country.
 
 
Weather Phenomena
 
A slight chance of low clouds forming over scattered areas of Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, the North Coast, and the Suez Canal cities, potentially resulting in light, insignificant drizzle in some areas.
 
Mist (from 4 to 8 AM): Over areas from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, which may be dense at times on some roads.
 
A very slight chance of light rain (approximately 20%): Over areas of the northwestern coast at intervals.
