PM attends ‘Tahya Misr Fund’ event, allocates 100 Umrah trips for families of Ismailia victims

CAIRO – 12 August 2026: Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly attended on Wednesday the "Tahya Misr" Fund’s celebration marking the 12th anniversary of its establishment. Several ministers, governors, senior officials, public figures, and partners are also attending the event.

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Madbouly announced that the Fund would award 100 Umrah trips to the families of those injured or killed in Al-Dawahes accident in Ismailia.

The event highlighted the Tahya Misr Fund's 12-year journey, showcasing numerous initiatives across social protection, healthcare, urban development, education, training, and economic empowerment. It also emphasizes the fund's crisis and disaster response efforts, which have reached millions of citizens across Egypt's governorates.

The Prime Minister began his speech by offering his sincere condolences to the families of the Ismailia Road collision victims, praying for the deceased and wishing the injured a full and speedy recovery.

He noted that out of respect for the victims and their families, the Tahya Misr Fund canceled all artistic performances scheduled for the day's event. He affirmed that the Fund will provide full support to those affected by the tragic incident.
