CAIRO – 17 August 2026: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority released details for Monday’s weather forecast. Latest satellite imagery indicates a slight decrease in temperatures, though humidity levels remain high across northern Egypt, Greater Cairo, and northern Upper Egypt.

Warm and humid conditions are expected in the early morning, turning hot and humid during the day across northern Egypt and Greater Cairo. Very hot weather will persist in southern Egypt, while warm and humid conditions are expected overnight across most of the country.

Greater Cairo: High 34°C, Feels like 36°C

Lower Egypt: High 33°C, Feels like 36°C

Northwest Coast: High 30°C, Feels like 34°C

Northeast Coast: High 31°C, Feels like 35°C

Northern Upper Egypt: High 36°C, Feels like 38°C

Southern Upper Egypt: High 42°C, Feels like 43°C
