CAIRO - 20 August 2026: The judicial reshuffle for State Council advisors for the 2026/2027 judicial year, approved by the Special Administrative Affairs Council headed by Counselor Mahmoud Ibrahim Abu El-Dahab, includes the appointment of 181 female judges to various positions within the Council.
This step reflects the State Council President's commitment to providing opportunities for female judges across all sectors and utilizing their expertise, recognizing this as their inherent right, particularly given their proven excellence in their work.
The Special Administrative Affairs Council approved the judicial movement for the new judicial year, with implementation scheduled to begin on October 1st.
Counselor Mahmoud Ibrahim Abu El-Dahab affirmed that utilizing the full potential and expertise of the State Council's distinguished judges, both male and female, will remain an ongoing approach within the Council.
The President of the State Council congratulated the judges of the Council on the approaching new judicial year, expressing his appreciation for their tireless efforts throughout the previous period in fulfilling their noble mission and achieving justice and fairness for all.
He emphasized the importance of continuing their distinguished efforts, pursuing academic excellence, and keeping pace with developments, particularly in light of the advancements in technological and digital tools and media that the State Council has recently been keen to integrate into the judicial system.
This integration aims to facilitate work processes and reduce burdens on citizens.
The judicial reshuffle included the assignment of 110 advisors to the Supreme Administrative Court, 1,172 advisors to the Administrative Court, 592 advisors to the Administrative and Disciplinary Courts, and 1,765 advisors to the State Commissioners Authority.
The judicial reshuffle took into account the preferences of the Council's advisors, while also considering their health and social circumstances.
