CAIRO - 16 August 2025: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has officially launched its first mobile application, “EGX,” on Sunday, August 17, 2025, introducing a new digital channel designed to keep investors closer to market developments.
The beta version of the app provides real-time access to the latest stock market news, data on listed securities, and index summaries, while also highlighting major market movements.
EGX emphasized that the app will continue to evolve, with users encouraged to share feedback and recommendations through the “EGX Dialogue Platform,” ensuring the tool reflects the needs of its stakeholders.
The initiative is part of EGX’s broader modernization strategy, particularly its target of upgrading market systems and applications. By doing so, the exchange seeks to raise informational efficiency, enhance transparency, and attract a wider investor base through innovative, globally aligned practices.
According to EGX, the new platform not only improves communication with market participants but also represents a step toward building a more interactive and accessible capital market ecosystem.
