(Reuters) - Inter Milan have signed midfielder Curtis Jones from Liverpool on a deal through June 2031, the Serie A club said on Friday.
Inter did not disclose the financial details of the deal, but media reports put the fee at around 35 million euros ($40.89 million), including performance-related add-ons.
The 25-year-old ends a 16-year spell at Liverpool, where he joined the academy aged nine and made 228 first-team appearances after his senior debut in the 2018-19 season.
Jones scored 22 goals and won six major trophies, including two Premier League titles and the Champions League.
The England international featured 49 times in all competitions last season but was unable to establish himself as a regular starter in Liverpool's midfield.
At San Siro, he will link up with fellow England internationals John Stones and Djed Spence as the Italian champions strengthen their squad for the new season.
