Mogadishu attack
In a foreign ministry statement, Egypt reaffirmed its continued support for Somali national institutions and their security and military capabilities.
An attack claimed by Al Shabab movement targeted a restaurant at the Pearl Beach hotel in Mogadishu, claiming the lives of nine people (six civilians and three police personnel) and injuring 20 others on Friday, Reuters reported.
