Egypt Foreign Ministry
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement to mark the World Day against Trafficking in Persons, observed annually by the United Nations on July 30.
Egypt’s foreign ministry warned that the Iranian attacks constitute “a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity” of these Arab states, and a “very serious escalation threatening the security and stability of the entire region.”
Egypt has praised the United Nations Security Council’s resolution calling for urgent humanitarian pauses and corridors in Gaza as a “first and important step toward achieving the goal of a comprehensive ceasefire.”
