A fire broke out involving a regasification vessel and a storage vessel at Damietta Port on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, without causing any casualties.
“Egypt’s destiny is to live amid a turbulent region, where interests conflict, balances are intertwined, and alliances change, but there is no way for us except with our unity and national cohesion to confront such matters,” President Sisi said in his speech on Sunday.
Egypt is keen on peacefully solving conflicts in the region, and always rejects conspiracies and interference in domestic affairs of countries, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said Tuesday during a hearing at the parliament.
