CAIRO - 2 August 2026: Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty discussed regional developments and de-escalation efforts with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah in a Sunday phone call.
The call comes as part of ongoing communication and consultation between the two nations on issues of mutual interest.
The two ministers exchanged views on rapid regional developments, stressing the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions and avoid expanding the conflict.
They emphasized supporting political and diplomatic solutions to restore regional security and agreed to maintain close coordination to contain tensions across the region.
