CAIRO - 3 August 2026: Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty held a Monday phone call with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss regional developments.
The two foreign ministers reviewed the latest developments in the region and efforts to contain escalation to prevent the widening scope of tension.
They emphasized the necessity of an immediate halt to military escalation and the prioritization of political and diplomatic solutions as the optimal path to addressing regional crises.
